Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • 2 cups maida


  • Soda 1 teaspoon


  • 1 cup curd


  • 1/2 teaspoon salt


  • 1 teaspoon sugar


  • 1/2 tea spoon carom seed


  • 2 cups boiled chickpeas


  • 2 medium sized onion paste


  • 2 medium size tomato paste


  • 4 chopped green chillies


  • 1 teaspoon red chili powder


  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder


  • 4 tbsp tamarind pulp


  • 1 teaspoon Chhole masala


  • 1 stick cinnamon


  • 4 clove


  • 1 teaspoon ginger garlic paste


  • 1 teaspoon jeera powder


  • 4 tab.spoon Oil

Directions

  • First prepare the Waffle dough
  • In a Big Bowl take maida curd salt sugar soda and knead it with water
  • Keep it aside for half an hour
  • Now in a pan pour oil
  • Add cinnamon cloves and tej patta
  • Now add onion paste
  • Cook it till it turns pink in colour
  • Now add tomato puree
  • Cook it on medium flame
  • Now add red chilli powder turmeric jeera powder coriander powder salt
  • Now stire it till oil comes on outer surface
  • Now add boiled chickpeas or Chhole
  • Add ginger garlic paste and Chhole masala
  • Stir it and cook it for 5 to 10 minutes
  • Now add water as needed your gravy thick or watery
  • Now add tamarind pulp and switch off the flame
  • Sprinkle finely chopped coriander leaves
  • And Chhole masala is ready
  • Now take a medium size ball from kneaded dough of waffle
  • Put it on Waffle maker
  • Press it and switch on the button of Waffle maker
  • As Waffle turns pink in colour take it out from the Waffle maker
  • And bhatura Waffle is ready
  • Serve hot Bhature Waffle and chole
